I named my blog "Notes from Nocturnal Sate" for two reasons. The first being that it reminded me of one of my favorite songs called "trouble sleeping" by Corrine Bailey Rae. Ironically, I listen to it when I want to fall asleep and it works wonders. It makes me think ofa cold, winter day and when I listen to it while trying to fall asleep I automatically feel warm and snug in my bed. This song is about not being able to fall asleep because something is on the mind. The singer is talking about herself and she is denying that the real reason she is suffering from insomnia is because she is in love. It is a very soothing song for me and it relaxes me when I am stressed or feeling down. The second reason I chose this title is because I think when people write their blogs they should be writing somewhat aimlessly about anything and everything. When I have trouble sleeping it is because my mind is racing with too many thoughts, so I found this to be the perfect opportunity to write them down. When I was younger I would keep a diary in cases like that and now I will keep this blog.
